UN unveils D’banj, Omotola, Yemi Alade, 41 other Nigerians as 2018 MIPAD honorees










D’banj, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Yemi Alade and 41 other Nigerians were honoured on Wednesday at the United Nations as they were unveiled as part of the 2018 Most Influential People of African Descent global 100 list.
The list, which was announced in March, recognizes the positive contributions made by people of African descent, worldwide, across four categories of Politics & Governance, Business & Entrepreneurship, Media & Culture and Religious & Humanitarian.

The unveiling of the honorees was done at the 73rd United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Actress, Jalade-Ekeinde shared some photos from the event on her Instagram page and captioned it, “Honoured to be one of the Most Influential 100 People of African Descent at the United Nations by @mipad100”
